在伊金霍洛旗境内的甘德利敖包之上有一座巍然屹立的蒙古包式建筑宫殿，这就是闻名遐迩的一代天骄成吉思汗的陵墓。据说，成吉思汗率军远征西夏途经伊金霍洛，看到这里水草丰美、花鹿出没，忘情地失手掉落马鞭，当随从要去拣马鞭时，他挥手制止，并情不自禁的吟诗一首：“花角金鹿栖息之所，戴胜鸟儿育雏之乡；衰落王朝振兴之地，白发老人享乐之邦”。
1227年，成吉思汗在灭西夏的战争中病逝后，运送灵柩的大车途经伊金霍洛，当灵车走到当年成吉思汗失落马鞭且吟诗之地时，车轮突然陷入泥淖沼泽之中，任凭多少匹马都无法拉动丝毫，于是，人们想起了当年他掉落马鞭的情景，就把他安葬在这里——即今天的甘得利尔敖包，并留下五百户“达尔扈特人”专门侍奉成陵，800多年来，世世代代酥油灯长明不熄...
On top of the Ovoo in Yijinhuoluo banner, there’s a Mongolian Yurt styled palace, which is the mausoleum of the a great man, Genghis Khan. It is said that when he marched for Xixia and passed by Yijinhuoluo, his horsewhip fell on the ground when he was surprisingly viewing the beautiful surrounding. He stopped his attendant from picking up the horsewhip, and composed a poem “habitat for beautiful deer, and birds;the rejuvenation of the fading Dynasty, the utopia for white haired men.”
In 1227, after Genghis Khan died from Xixia War, the carts carrying the coffin passed through Yijinhuoluo, the same place where he dropped the whip and composed the poem, the wheel suddenly plunged into the mud, and horses couldn’t pull it out. It reminds people of the scene years ago, and buried him here, which is today’s Ganerdeli Ovoo, and left five hundred “Dahl” to serve him at the mausoleum for 800 years. For generations, the butter lamp never went off.
苏泊罕大草原，是鄂尔多斯保留最为完整的原生态游牧草原，是成吉思汗六征西夏的屯兵整军之地、伊克昭七旗会盟及阅兵校武故地、鄂尔多斯明清时期最大的驿站、伊克昭盟盟歌诞生地及官敖包发祥地; 尔多斯明清时期最大的驿站、伊克昭盟盟歌诞生地及官敖包发祥地;是成吉思汗哈日苏勒德龙年巡游鄂尔多斯七旗的集散地，也是藏传佛教早期领袖进京谒帝途中重要的休养礼佛圣地。
The Subohan prairie is the most complete, original, and ecological prairie preserved in Ordos, which is the area that Genghis Khan used for the army preparation when marching Xixia, the land where the seven banners meet, the largest station in Ordos at Ming and Qing dynasties, the birthplace of Yikezhao league song, which is also an important Buddhist sacred place for the early Tibetan Buddhist leaders who went to the capital and visited the emperor for breaks.

温馨提示：成吉思汗陵附近为少数民族聚居区，请尊重民族信仰、风俗，成吉思汗陵宫内不允许大声喧哗、拍照。草原紫外线较强，请做好防晒准备，穿较为舒适的鞋子，女士尽量不要穿裙子。

The self - cost of the Subohan prairie:
